The G10Q T9 Circline 32W Blacklight White Fluorescent Tube is a specialist circular UV-A lamp designed for compatible fittings requiring a 32W G10q 4-pin Circline fluorescent lamp.
Unlike a standard visible-light Circline lamp, this product is designed to emit UV-A ultraviolet radiation for specialist applications rather than primarily producing normal room illumination.
The lamp has a white fluorescent coating, giving it a similar appearance to a standard fluorescent tube when switched off. It should not be confused with a Blacklight Blue (BLB) lamp, which typically has a dark blue or violet-looking glass coating.
With an approximate 210mm outside diameter, this compact circular lamp is suitable for compatible UV-A equipment and specialist fixtures designed specifically for a 32W G10q Circline lamp.

Blacklight White and Blacklight Blue (BLB) lamps are not the same product.
A Blacklight White / Actinic UV-A lamp typically uses a white fluorescent coating and is designed to emit useful UV-A radiation for specialist applications.
A Blacklight Blue / BLB lamp usually uses dark blue or violet filtering glass and is commonly chosen where the visible purple-blacklight effect itself is important.
This NZ Lights product is a:
32W • G10q • T9 • Blacklight White • UV-A Circline lamp
Do not substitute a BLB lamp unless your equipment specifically allows it.
A 32W G10q Blacklight White UV-A Circline lamp may be used in compatible specialist equipment such as:
The exact suitability depends on the equipment manufacturer and the UV wavelength/output required.
UV-A fluorescent lamps are commonly used in electronic insect traps because certain UV wavelengths are attractive to flying insects.
Philips' Actinic BL range, for example, is specifically designed for insect-attraction applications and includes G10q circular fluorescent formats.
If replacing a lamp in an insect trap, check the wattage, G10q base, physical diameter and UV lamp type before ordering.
UV-A lamps may also be used in compatible systems for:
However, not all UV-A lamps have the same spectral output.
If your equipment requires a specific wavelength or manufacturer lamp code, compare that requirement carefully before ordering.
This is a UV-A emitting fluorescent lamp and should be used only in suitable equipment.
Avoid unnecessary direct exposure of the eyes or skin to ultraviolet radiation.
Use the lamp only in equipment designed for this type of UV source and follow the equipment manufacturer's operating and safety instructions.
Do not use this lamp as a normal household lighting source.
Before ordering, check the markings on your existing circular lamp.
For this product, look for:
32W + G10q + T9 + Blacklight White / UV-A
Also check the physical size.
For this lamp:
Outside Diameter: Approx. 210mm
Your existing tube may also show:
BL
UV-A
Blacklight
Actinic
or a manufacturer-specific model number.
Do not choose a replacement based only on the 32W wattage.
This product uses a G10q 4-pin base.
Before ordering, confirm:
✓ 32W
✓ T9 Circline
✓ G10q
✓ 4-Pin
✓ Blacklight White / UV-A
✓ Approx. 210mm outside diameter
A normal visible-light 32W Circline lamp may physically resemble this lamp but will not provide the same UV-A function.
Likewise, a Blacklight Blue lamp should not automatically be treated as an equivalent.
If you're unsure whether this 32W G10q T9 Blacklight White Circline lamp is the correct replacement, send NZ Lights a clear photo of your existing lamp showing the printed markings and connector/base.
If possible, also provide the outside diameter and the equipment make/model.
For specialist UV products, the equipment model can be especially helpful because the required UV spectrum matters as well as the wattage and base.
